I had the pleasure of visiting Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey and the only country residing on two continents, Europe and Asia. Everything was gorgeous and the service was impeccable. Someone was always offering me a hot apple tea or welcoming me with a warm smile. Even the Turkish airline was amazing. I flew out of NYC at midnight and by the time I woke up I was in Europe. My days went like this, get up early to eat breakfast on the roof while I watch the sun come up. Breakfast, wasn’t the traditional bacon, pancakes and eggs. It was lighter. An assortment of fruits, cheeses, veggies, boiled egg a cappuccino and some desserts. After breakfast we would go site seeing, making sure to see all the big landmarks before coming back to the states. We visited the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, The Bosphorous Bridge, The Hagia Sophia and took a tour from the European side of Turkey to the Asian side and then back to Europe. After a tour, we’d have lunch somewhere. I had fish once and lamb the rest of the trip. Why not?! Then we’d come back to the hotel, have wine on the roof, watch the sun set and then go to dinner, where I would have lamb yet again. I don’t know why,but I didn’t expect such beauty, tranquility and patience. It had rained every day the week before I got there but didn’t rain once on my trip. The weather couldn't have been better. This world is huge and I want to see so much more of it! Enjoy the picture gallery below!
